David Patterson seemed pretty impressed with what he saw at FCCS
David Patterson, aka ThatDudeInBlue, released his recap Thursday of the fourth annual Future Classic Car Show in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Hosted by ClassicCars.com, the show only allowed cars built in 1975 or later to enter. Patterson was joined by about 4,000 other attendees at the Scottsdale Quarter for the event, which served as a kick-off for Arizona Auction Week.
“There was a vast array and complete variety of such cool cars,” Patterson said in his YouTube video. It’s worth noting that a highly modified 2004 Subaru WRX STi took the top spot in the show.
One car that caught Patterson’s eye was a manual-swapped Saturn SW that was originally built specifically for the United States Postal service. That made it a right-hand drive version of the Saturn SW was only offered between 1999 and 2001.
Along with the Saturn, Patterson highlighted a Falcon — the sons of the owner said it is still in much of its original condition.
The video also shows a few interviews with car owners — including the people who hold the keys to a rear-wheel drive 1981 Toyota Starlet, a 2015 BMW F80 M3, and a 1998 Nissan 240SX.
